The President of the Water Polo Federation of Ukraine, Oleksandr Svishchov, revealed the details of the intense confrontation in the men’s Super League.

“This year’s third round impressed with its dynamism and surprises. The Lviv team LFKS-”Aquatico” stands out, showing rapid progress. No less interesting are the teams of NTU “KhPI” Kharkiv and Water polo club “Mariupol” — their chances of getting into the top three look more than real.

I am waiting for an exciting fight for silver and bronze awards. It is fundamentally important that a real sports competition unfolds in the pool. Our goal is to create conditions for the growth of young water polo players. After all, it is they who will form the backbone of the national team of Ukraine in the near future. Therefore, the main thing at the moment is to give young players maximum opportunities to gain experience alongside veterans,” Oleksandr Svishchov commented.
