Prominent Ukrainian philanthropist and sports figure Oleksandr Svishchov became a laureate of the prestigious national award “Treasure of the Nation 2024”. The award was given for his significant contribution to the development and reconstruction of Ukraine.

The awarding ceremony took place in the National Reserve “Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra” during the presentation of the art project “Prayer for Ukraine” by the people’s artist Volodymyr Kozyuk. This event was implemented with the support of Svishchev himself.

The “Treasure of the Nation” award honors Ukrainians who show courage, humanity and strength of spirit, contributing to a positive image of Ukraine in the world. Tetiana Zabovska, president of the award, emphasized Svishchev’s invaluable contribution to the preservation of Ukrainian values ​​and the formation of a conscious civic position.

Volodymyr Kozyuk, the author of the project, noted Svishchev’s role in supporting art in difficult times for the country. According to him, the “Prayer for Ukraine” and “Ukraine Through the Ages” projects have become a symbol of the unity of the people and will soon be presented in European countries.

Oleksandr Svishchov himself emphasized the importance of art in times of trials, calling the project a powerful reminder of the indomitable spirit of Ukrainians.

In addition to supporting culture, Svishchov actively restores damaged infrastructure, helps military and civilians. It provides financial and material support to hospitals and rehabilitation centers that care for war victims.

Oleksandr Svishchov was also awarded the badge of honor of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine for his volunteer activities and humanitarian assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
