Oleksandr Svischov brought the sporting community together during the Ukrainian Water Polo Federation’s conference
On 4 July, an extraordinary conference of the Ukrainian Water Polo Federation was held in Lviv, organised following a decision by the federation’s president, Oleksandr Svishchov.
During the meeting, the participants reviewed the activities carried out to date and set out the priority areas for the development of Ukrainian water polo for the coming sporting season.
The main issues discussed included: the organisation of nationwide tournaments, the development of the refereeing corps, support for coaches, and improvements to the training system for youth and junior teams.
According to Oleksandr Svishchov, President of the Ukrainian Water Polo Federation, the priorities set out at the conference will form the basis for the federation’s activities in the new season and will help to raise the standard of Ukrainian water polo, the development of young athletes and the strengthening of Ukraine’s position on the international stage.
